To infinity and...oh wait...

A long time ago...

PD is still playing Star Wars the Old Republic on the Terentatak server. Thendar is leading the charge for PD there as I have taken a hiatus from gaming for a short time. I hope to rejoin the crew soon. In the mean time, there are a lot of changes coming to the game that may interest those of you that are still on the fence about it.

PD Wants You!

The Purple Dragons Online Gaming Guild (est 1997) is looking for Guardian players to join us in Rift on the Molinar server. We're one of online gamings oldest and most prestigious guilds. For the past 6 months we've been playing as a casual guild active in all aspect of the game. We're looking to ramp up our world PVP and raiding presence. Molinar server

Well, for the second time in our short Rift life we are moving servers. The Ashstone server is no longer going to be a live server and we've moved to Molinar.

The Purple Dragons have moved to Ashstone. We finally took all we could from the queue monster.

PD and Rift

The Purple Dragons will be moving to Rift (riftgame.com). We will be taking place in the Rift 'Headstart" program and will be landing on the Deepstrike server on the 24th of February.

Rift

For the past two years, PD has been lying dormant. We've played some RTS games and FPS games together. We've had a few people playing WoW and other older MMOs as well. Heck, we even made a return to Travian (ugh!). This little game has snuck up on us quickly. Rift (riftgame.com) looks to be our next stop on the crazy train. Cesara is setting up a subsection on the forums now. The next beta phase is schedule for 4 Feb - 6 Feb. The release is set for 1 March with an early release for pre-orders on 24 Feb. I am looking forward to seeing you all in a true MMO again.

I'm so proud!

During our most recent venture into Travian, someone thought they were giving us a jab when they described a "Classic PD Move".

Here it is:

"Complete destruction without thought. it was meant to demoralize players and get them to quit the game."

I was supposed to be hurt by that. Good work PD.

PD Fest 2010

PD Fest 2010 will be at Casa de CesandWilliam again this year. We'll be starting the party on the 20th of August 2010. More updates to come!
